ASKA News-04/29/2003 ASKA's Danny White in MODERN DRUMMER Magazine ASKA's new drummer, Danny White, was pictured in this month's issue of MODERN DRUMMER magazine in a PINTECH Drums half page advertisement.
Danny is a current endorser of PINTECH products and was featured in the ad with five other music industry endorsers which included the drummer's for Warrant, Papa Roach, and the "Tonight Show".
Danny had this to say about his affiliation with PINTECH; "They're a great company man and make killer affordable products for musicians at any level. I've had their gear in my arsenal for years."

March 11th, 2003 was quite a memorable night for both ASKA and Pantera/NFP drummer, Vinnie Paul. See, ASKA was requested to play Paul's secret,
surprise, birthday party by Paul's brother, "Dimebag" Darrell (also of Pantera/NFP). Apparently, Darrell and Vinne had such a good time at George Call and
Keith Knight's birthday bash earlier in the month that "Dime" decided to surprise his brother by enlisting ASKA as the featured entertainment the night of his
birthday. Vinnie Paul had no idea what was happening until he walked in and the band and partygoers yelled "Surprise!" and joined ASKA in singing him a
heavy metal version of "Happy Birthday". Decorations and a banner for the party were provided and put up by "Dime", Pat Lachman (Halford/NFP), and other members of NFP and ASKA. Also in attendance at the party were members of Jerry Cantrell's band and Drowning Pool. "We'll be doing one show a month...maybe." said George Call, ASKA's vocalist/guitarist. Fans are advised to catch them when you can or risk missing out.

ASKA is probably the only band in the history of the world where two band members share the same exact birthday, thus, this special show on Saturday, MARCH 1st.
And everyone's invited as ASKA gears up for George and Keith's "BIG, BADASS, BIRTHDAY BASH" on March 1st at J. Gilligans in Arlington, Texas. Sharing in this birthday extravaganza are the band's good friends George Davey and Rick Goebells and it's just going to be one helluva night for celebration in the rock n roll tradition! Rumor has it that some famous rockers will be in attendance so we strongly suggest you bring your autograph pens! Who knows? Maybe ASKA might even throw out a new tune for those chomping at the bit for some new ASKA music! This will also be ASKA's only show in March. You've been warned!
